ITV plc Statement re Friends Reunited

ITV notes the decision by the OFT to refer the acquisition of Friends Reunited Holdings Limited (”Friends Reunited”) by Brightsolid Group Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of DC Thomson Limited) to the Competition Commission for further investigation. ITV is disappointed by this outcome, but will work closely with the Competition Commission and Brightsolid to seek to resolve this process satisfactorily.
